I have no mufflers and a "Y" behind the cat. Before the change, 1/4 mi times
were 15.09. Now she runs a consistant 14.89 @ 89mph. I lost a little MPG, but
I can live w/ that. The system cost $150 installed at the local shop. This
includes the chrome tips. Its 2 1/2 in pipe.
The sound? Its good, not sloppy and certainly bully! Everyone looks at the
truck and many want to know if I have Junkmasters on it. I just say nope! Now
if you have headers, I would put on the mufflers.
