Well, got my Dak bak tonight, after being in the shop for 8 days. The sun
gear and carrier in the OD unit were shot, as were various clutches, etc.
Seems that a retaining clip came loose from the sun gear assembly and caused
my whine.
Now the question is, where the @$$% is that clip??
Gonna do a tranny filter and oil change tomorrow.
