Ken,
I did this on my 92 V8. I bought a 14" crescent wrench. The head is too wide
to fit between the clutch and pulley with the pulley bolts installed. I took
all but two of them out. The fan is assymetrical 5 blades. Turn the blade
until the open side faces up and stick the wrench in there and spin it off.
I had to hit mine witha 2# sledge. Be careful! Use another wrench on the
remaining water pump pulley bolts for leverage. The part you are turning is a
nut that goed onto a threaded shaft on the water pump. Be sure to leave the
belt on while getting it loose, it helps to keep things from turning too much.
