} Just wondering; what is backspacing?

Backspacing is the distance from the back of the rim (the inside surface
of the back of the rim, where the tire bead rests) to the surface that
rests against the hub. Larger backspacings mount the wheel farther in
on the truck. An alternate way of specifying this is with offset.
Offset is the difference between the surface that rests against the hub
to the centerline of the wheel.

                  (wheel width)/2 + offset = backspace

Wheel width is the width INSIDE the rim where the tire beads rest
against. Cast wheels usually have the size (15x6 or whatever) molded in
if you look at the backside of the rim.
