I have just about the same truck, 8k on the odo. and i get 17.5 on the
cheep gas, but i have a cover on the bed. might want to try this.
otherwise no mods as of yet.

p.s. i did remove the stickers but i don't think that this would change the
mileage by 2 mpg!
