Guys,
I really cannot emphasize this enough. If you want a really
strong lowering block, especially one made of steel, that I can
vouch for with over 110,000 miles on them. Call So Low
Suspensions. Their blocks are very strong. I do not remember the
price, but they are not but a couple of dollars higher than the
aluminum units. How much is your safety worth? I for one know
what it is like when the rear axle comes out of position as my
Toyota snapped a leaf spring right after I purchased it with
about 40,000 miles on it. It was very exciting and very difficult
to drive it on the highway, during rush hour, at 70mph. If you
are going to lower your truck, do it with the best components you
can buy. BTW, this was 2 years before I lowered it and was
completely caused by the previous owner who constantly over
loading the truck.

Lowered rides are cool, but can be dangerous if not performed
properly with the right equipment.
Lance, you care to add anything on this?
