<< Damn, this reminds of when my friend shorted out a wrench between the
battery and the large aluminum intake manifold on a BMW. It was the first
time that I had ever seen steel and aluminum welded successfully. >>

I was installing some headlights on a Datsun 510 race car I used to work on.
Normally it had no lights, but we were running a night race. Anyways, I have
this wire in my hand with a round eyelet on the end, I hook the wire onto the
battery terminal, and accidently pushed the wire against the grill with my
leg. The other end of the wire was stripped and ready for a connector.
Instant weld! The best part is, I see this wire smoking and getting cherry
red, and I try to pull up on the wire. Well, with the eyelet on the terminal,
and the other end of wire stuck to grill, I basically had to keep pulling
until the wire broke. Never dawned on me to let go. Needless to say, I had a
nice cotterized cut across two fingers, about the diameter of the wire deep.
Ouch! That hurt for days!!!!! Took a couple months untilt he groove in my
index fingure went away. Looked like a NGK v-groove spark plug!! he he!!
