In reference to your speed shop diagnosis.I would definitely stay with the
stock Magnum manifolds and have a good exhaust shop bend you up a new head
pipe.Mopar Performance ran the Magnum manifolds on the dyno against 340
manifolds and the drivers side Magnum manifold won and the passenger side
wasn,t far behind.A good choice would be a cat back exhaust by borla or
Gibson.
I have the Gibson and it,s beautifully Mandrell bent tubing with a 3" tailpipe
and stainless tip.Chrysler says their headers are worth 15 HP at the rear
wheels.
