Mike,

Here is my $0.02 on radiator problems or lack of problems. I have a
1986 BMW bike that has a radiator with plastic tanks. I also had a
1986 Chebby S-10 (sold for Dak) with the original radiator. I
have had no problems with the radiators on these two vehicles. I
change the coolant every 2 years. I use Prestone and Distilled
water. I use the distilled water because it has no minerals and
it only adds $0.69 to the job. YMMV.
