I used to carry street bikes in my Chebby with a 6' bed. The biggest one
was my R90s BMW. (only whenI purchased it.) No problem, just leave the
gate open. I have my 98 Dakota set up with a pop-chock and Ancra tie
downs. I have not had to haul a bike yet, but I am ready.

Ride/Drive Safe,

Joe

P.S. If I ever have to haul my EMK sidecar I will be SOL :-/
