What did your 5sp RC DAK run when it was stock? I bet it wasn't 14.7! If I really want to race, I just bring out my '91 Stang. It runs 11.50@118+mph all day and is daily driven, gets 23mpg on the hwy and 16mpg in town. I also used this car to tow my VW Baja to the sand dunes (400mi round trip) before I bought my DAK R/T,
and I have less than $15K in it!

My 95 Reg cab 5spd 3.90SG Dak runs 14.7s@94+mph all day. Good enough to beat the R/T and the Lightning. My total investment in this truck including mods is right at $15,000. If speed is what you want, get the 5.2 Sport model and hop it up. It will always be faster and cheaper than the R/T.
