Keyless Entry Chirp and Auto Loor Locks

I purchased my Dakota this week, and I called the dealership today and tried to
make arraingements to have the short chirp on the keyless entry and the auto
door locks activated, and the service tech told me this was an option, and it
would cost me $31.50.

Does this sound right. Has anyone else experienced this problem.
