Part of the Dak 4x4's poor mileage can be blamed on the fact that the front
axles and driveshaft to the transfer case are always turing. Since it's an open
diff, using a synthetic gear lube should not be a problem and should eliminate
cold drag and get more MPG all around.

Anyone with experience with this mod? My Dak will soon get this mod.
