After viewing the web-sites from the Highway Safety Inst. I have to say
that the Dak was sunk by one category: Head injury. Of course I'd say that
this is an important category but in other areas such as leg injuries,
chest injuries , cab intrusion, and steering column movement the Dak was at
or near the best in the test. For whatever reason the dummy in the Dak took
a serious blow to the head while in three of the other trucks it suffered
no head banging. Go figure
