Sticking throttle

I have a 98 cc sport 4wd 5.2. IT has 20,000 miles on it.
Last week, I left the toll booth by my house and stepped about 3/4 throttle
and the pedal got stuck. I rode the brake and got it stopped on the shoulder.
Shut the truck off and started it and it was fine. I went down the road, went
to pass a truck and the same thing happened. I pulled over again and shut the truck
off and thought maybe the husky floor mats were getting jammed, so I took the mat out and the
truck was fine. The next day, leaving the a different toll plaze, the same thing
happened. I had to go right past the dealer on the way to work
so I decided to go there rather than look at it myself. I go into the service
desk and I tell the guy what's happening and he says "were kind of busy, do yuo
want to make and appointment" I said "yeah, I want an appointment for RIGHT NOW
" He said they'd try to get to it.
Any way, what it came down to is the factory dropped an extra air cleaner
retainer bolt and it was laying on the throttle linkage and jamming it up.
just kind of funny that it took 20,000 miles and 6 months to happen.
luckily nothing happend to the truck. Had I crashed the truck, the bolt would have went
flying and everyone would have said I was crazy when I said the throttle stuck.
Anyway, I don't know if these parts were robot installed or manually installed,
but you may just want to take a look at your truck.
