jules,

remember a while ago i talked to you about mine? when i took the dremel to
the TBI on my old DAK. i completely disassembled it and successfully
removed the screws without damaging the threads and re-assembled the peices
without marring the blades with the factory screws. it can be done, just
gotta be careful:). you just take it a few steps further.

i have seen a system that RC performance sells with a new intake and 1000
cfm 4 barrell tbi. that looks wicked! not recommended for a stock engine
tho. try a nice cam and maybe mill the heads and you should be making some
nice ponies with that setup.

ya want power from your dak??

get these items:

intake (mopar m1, make it work)
headers
mopar camshaft (.455 lift preferably)
crane or comp cams roller rockers (stick with the stock ratio due to the
new bigger cam, dont wanna be too lopey on the street)
oh yes, toss some 5.9 heads on (bigger valves), but mill them .050 to bump
up teh compression. (i put "915" cast 360 heads on the 318 for my dodge
demon, but i had em milled .060. with my 9.5:1 pistons, that will give me a
10.99:1 compression ratio on my little old .030 over 318)

that combo should get your truck going:)

yes, all that just came from the guy with the mustang.... just one thing..
I KNOW MY MOPARS!

cya
