That reminds me... There's a little blurb about a new Super Stock Dak
in the "Mopar Sportsman Spotlight" section of the May '98 MPN.

The driver is Ernie Neal, from Indiana (18 years Super Stock experience).
The truck is a '98 regular cab shortbed with a 318. They expect it to
turn 9.3's at 140-145mph.

Neal sez: "...I've also decided to run a standard transmission, which
is a bit different than most cars out there. I've always been a 'stick'
kind of guy."

For those that are interested, This Dak will be at the NHRA national events
in Atlanta, Columbus, St. Louis, Chicago, and Indianapolis. It'll also do some
exhibition runs at the Mopar Nationals next August (Indianapolis).

Those autos are a dyin' breed, Bill! ;-)
