Heh heh heh! Thanks. :-) Yep, you're right; both Dakotas broke out
against me; the Chebby and the Ferd were both "normal" wins with no
breakouts. I ran a 15.49 on a 15.40 when you broke out with your 14.986
on a 15.00, and the viper Dak broke out with a 14.806 on a 14.90 while I
ran a 15.413 on a 15.40. (Then the Ferd lost with his 16.144 on a 16.00
to my 15.411 on a 15.40.)
It definitely helps, I think, to know exactly what's going on. Before,
I didn't really know precisely where the finish line was or how the
sensors were laid out, but knowing exactly what's what definitely helps
out in the confidence area, and helps me to plan where to be, and how to
judge when to cross the line... (Anything that I can do to take an aspect
out of the realm of luck and chance is probably good!) :-) My
biggest problem/concern at the moment is trying to get my dialins more
accurate; kind of hard to judge what with the temperature fluctuation,
and experementing with different stuff during the few test runs. So
far though, I think I've been fairly good (or lucky) at fudging it
at the line; as long as I don't pick a dialin that's way too fast
(can't catch up) or way too slow (break out) I think most error is
salvageable during the driving.

Yep, he always seems to whoop me when its a contest for that #1 trophy. :-)
(As a matter of fact, I don't recall EVER winning against Larry; this
time, I got lucky and he got beat before I had a chance to run him...) :-)
(He doesn't usually pull 3.5 reaction times when he's going for that
trophy!) ;-)
