  Hmmm, perhaps mine is too. When I was out at the track, parked in
a dirt parking lot, I checked the oil level, and it was a little lower
than I'd like, so I decided to put some more in. I drove to the store,
bought a quart, popped the hood, checked the oil first, and it was right
where it should be! I figured the oil might have been up in the engine
still when I checked it before, but this makes sense; I'll bet that's
what happened!
