>>I did the 180 degree thermostat change last Sunday. It took me
about 1 = 1/2 hours. It would have been 1/2 hour, but one of the
thermostat housing bolts fell in front of the radiator and down into
the front bumper valence into oblivion.<<

Way to go Mike... All new kota's (not sure about the older ones) have
a stock black hole that sucks in anything dropped near the engine
compartment! To date one small wrench, two fasteners and one washer
have been sent to other side by my Dak:)

>>I also ordered the K&N drop-in air filter. How much H.P. does it
     add?<<

I imagine K&N is getting a big kick out of all of us that have bought
the drop-in only to go with the FABM or other such setup! That's what
I did anyway because I didn't notice much of a change with the drop-in
(no numbers, just butt dino). In addition to real sweeeeeeat engine
sound at WOT my Dak really wants to get-up and GO with the FABM
installed... Just something you might want to consider.

BTW if anyone wants a slightly used (I think I had it in for 5 days)
drop in K&N for a '98 5.2L let me know:)
