When I did the mod on my Dak as well as a guys Dak at work I disconnected
the Battery before I did anything and didnt reconnect it until I was done with
everything.
When I did the mod for that guy at work, he said he felt more of a difference
than when he got the computer for it. Thats what he said, who knows. I did
notice a very signifigant difference though. However I also did some Intake
work on it before I put this motor in the Dak.
Disconnecting your Battery should allow you computer to reset and then it
will just adapt for your modification, and the light shouldnt come back on.
