I sure hope you were talking to a total jerk instead of a knowledgable guy
in a bad mood... I tend to agree with him on the 380HP/360 cu in Dak swap
if you plan on keeping it FI with ODBII control. If not, then carb away and
have at it. I am anxiously waiting for headers and comp for my 98 R/T CC.
I will be PISSED if it doesnt happen. The cam and lifter config for the
crates and the stock magnums should be the same since the service parts for
the 300HP/380HP crate are drop ins for the 97 360 ram motors (p/n P5249549,
pg 47 of the Mope pef cat)... Hopefully just misinformation, like calling
Disneyland to find out what time they open and how big the crowd is going to
be...
