FYI - Just got off of the phone with Troy at West Oaks Chrysler to
make sure that the Mopar warranty meant what it said - he said it did,
although he never heard of anyone having to use it. Full lifetime
warranty on their tri-y designed headers - period. The only thing the
warranty doesn't cover is the cost of shop labor if you don't do it
yourself. Not stainless, but they are 14 gauge, pretty nice chrome
(not near show chrome, but ok for a header), longer tri-y's with a
gorgeous 2.5" to 3" y that's bent as smooth as a baby's ass. Just
something to consider.

Yep, I was checkin' that out last night. I was pretty dissapointed;
I wonder why JBA took that tack? Automotive headers have a lifetime
warrantee, but the truck headers are only covered for 100% for a
couple of years, and every couple of years, the percentage goes down
and down until it ends up at about 23% or so after 6 years. Just
because its going to be on a truck? What gives? They call it a
"lifetime warrantee" and I guess it is, but its got a 70% deductible.
Also, I noticed that their warrantee is null and void if you race,
have nitrous oxide, or a whole list of other things. Strange. Do
they expect their headers to not be able to withstand the additional
stress of racing? Why else would we want 'em? :-)
So anyway, I was thinkin' about getting in on that deal, but after
checking out their site I'm not so sure now. (Sorry, I don't mean
to throw any cold water on anyone or the deal; I haven't completely
ruled out the JBA's myself, but there are some inconsistencies and
questions that arise...)
