Two questions: New paint and bed dimensions

There's a couple of questions I'd like to ask the list. I'm picking up my new
R/T next month, and
I'm wondering about waxing. I've heard from time to time that the paint on a
new car will continue hardening for a few months and you therefore shouldn't
wax the car until its at least 90 days old. Does someone know
if this is really true?

Also, could someone with a '97+ shortbed please measure the distance between
the inside of the
wheel wheels (the narrowest part of the bed floor).

One more note: I stopped by a Line-X shop Saturday and was impressed by the
product. One
interesting demonstration involved pieces of the Line-X and Rhino bed lining
product. If youy rubbed the two together the Rhino would crumble and erode,
while the Line-X wasn't touched. I'll be lining my bed
with Line-X

Thanks!

Seth Bradley
