I remember hearing a RUMOR a while back saying that Dodge was planning to
phase out the 5.2 and the 5.9 and replace it with a 340 (5.6 liter?).

I am not total informed here on the engine yet, but I belive the 5.2
is being
replaced w/ a new V8, but the 5.9L is still here as we know it.
