Well what grind is it ?
>>

I run a cam with 264/274 adv dur (210/220) that gets .512 lift with 1.6
rockers, and it's on a 112 deg lobe sep angle... Powerband seems to peak right
at the stock 5200 rpm rev limiter, but a few more Rs wouldn't hurt (5500
shifts would be ideal) ..
That is the cam that Patrick is running.
Patrick, did you have any problems with you computer accepting this cam?
Sounds pretty lumpy which I like, but Im not planning on the supercharger for
another year. So you say this is more for upper end right, I certainly dont
need any more low end HP or Tourqe, Im chirping them going into 4th right
now. Upper end is what I crave, those Cobras give me a hard time. They're
DOHC really works out in the upper R's.
Street racing them and the Z's are fun, but when I get to the track they
usually beat me by about a tenth in the quarter, and I just cant stand for
that anymore!! Im buying it in about 2 weeks so I gotta know if this is the
one for me. Patrick, if you say its the one, then its the one. Where did you
get it and what are the matching part #'s for the springs, roller rockers,
lifters? Also, did you get new push rods to go with that? I was encouraged
to do that from the guy thats installing them for me.
Eric
Thanks as always
