Another idea you might try is using the grilled space below the ashtray to
house a set of small diameter speakers. It's about the same amount of work as
mounting tweets on the door or upper sill, but putting them behind the grille
helps things look stock. Plus, should you decide to remove them later on,
there's no holes to explain. I put a pair of Pioneer 3"s in there and run them
off the deck. Sounds great. But it all depends what you like.
