I was under the impression (according to my manual anyway) that all Dakotas
'92
and above were Multi Point Fuel Injection, but every reference I 've been
hearing
is Throttle Body???......Am I just stupid (wide open on that one!) I'm not a
complete Motorhead so I can't tell by looking at it. I humbly request
enlightenment.

Your OK. Even SMPI (Sequentail Multi-Port Injected) vehicles have to have a
throttle body. When you mash the gas pedal, you open the butterflies, and
the computer sees this in the throttle positon sensor (TPS) and the Manifold
absolute pressure sensor (MAP) sensor, and applies the appropriate amount of
fuel to each cylinder as the intake valves open on the intake stroke.
All 92 and up Magnum Dakotas are Sequentially injected. It is widely assumes
that any injected vehicle with injectors at each port are sequential - this is
not the case. Alot of vehicles (fewer and fewer these days) with individual
injectors fire all of the injectors simulataneously.
