Yes, in fact GM and Ford have also had problems. Fifteen years ago O/D was
considered a luxury. Chrysler started putting them in trucks in 88 and they
are finally starting to get the bugs out. There is a good article in Mopar
High Performance July 98: "All you need to know about the A518". This will
show you how many mods they have done over the years. It also will tell you
if you have them by looking at the production code on the tranny.
