<< Well, basically, as you are waiting for the lights to come down, dont rev
the
motor. When you leave, slip the clutch as your are pouring on the gas. It
takes a while to get the right amount of slippage, with the most amount of
throttle. Just like leaving a stop sign as quick as possible.

A set of drag radials (or even better, drag slicks) will fix this technique
and lower ETs.... then adjust launch technique as follows..
1. Plant foot on floor, WOT.. 5200 rpm rev limiter? damn. Get a Mopar SBEC...
6200 rpm.. yeah, that's more like it.
2. Last yellow, let go of the clutch. Keep foot firmly planted on the floor.
3. Keep push broom and other oil absorbant materials just in case. Don't want
the track officials to get angry.
