Everyone I have talked to said that I got a really good price on my 3"
in and out cat - $99 from Dynomax. Just an FYI.

I would like to replace the dual inlet cat and use a single hi-flow
3"
unit instead. However I don't think it will be legal since smog laws
says that you can't replace the cat unless it fails or after 50k
miles.
Even without a replacement cat mandrel bent Y-pipes will be a huge
step
forward.

Jon,
The JBA headers do not come with a Y pipe. They use the factory
Y pipe.
JBA is considering making a Y pipe for the Dakota. I have an R/T
and will be
seeing JBA on Friday to discuss dual down pipes (for the R/Ts 2
into 1 cat).
worst case is that they will make me a set and make a few more
for fellow
R/T owners. Not sure if you can "legally" put a dual inlet cat
on a regular
Dak (I think not) but -Jon- Steiger (I think) has a source for Y
pipes.
There was a thread a while back.

I asked this before but maybe it was buried and so over
looked
by the list. Do the JBA headers come with the Y pipe? Does JBA
sell a Y
pipe?
Thanks,
Jon
