Hood Protection

I agree that bug shields are (usually) ugly, but useful. Here's a different
idea for those that want some protection and some individuality as well.

                               *Hood Condoms*

Well, sorta. New paints exist on the market that are 100% latex, so you are
painting rubber onto your hood. There are colors, but most organizations that
use them stick with white and then paint whatever color(s) they want onto the
latex. When you get tired of the paint scheme or it gets "damaged" by Snuffy
Smith's dump truck, you can just peel off the latex paint (the factory paint
is still under it: unscathed, and the latex peels off like a balloon) and take
the truck to the truck show, or slap some more latex on and try for bizzare
paint scheme #2.
This techinique is most commonly used by ad agencies "shooting" cars for
commercials and magazines and they want something that "looks odd" under
certain lights to look right. They then peel off the latex and return the car
to the dealership from which it was rented.
