well , when I had mine registered with the insurance company , they kept
questioning me about the letter "Z" in the VIN (that is the number that
designates the 360 engine) .

All in all it wasn't that much of a difference from my '94 4-cylinder Dak ,
and it should be very nominal since the insurance on a 4X4 is inflated
anyway .

You'll probably not change much .

Just to give you an idea , I am a 25 year old male with about 3 tickets in
the past 5 years , high risk insurance , and I had my lisence suspended
about three years ago .

Mine on my '98 R/T CC is about $1700 for the year , and it's also higher
than normal because of the type of financing I have (could barely afford it
!) .

Where you live also means a great deal in what you pay , to put it in
perspective , I live in a county that is considered the "Metro" area of
Atlanta , GA , even though I am 40 miles from Atlanta .

You should be able to check around and get a quote from any insurance
company , but to be sure what it is , I would have a copy of your Motor
Vehicle Report (MVR) which shows all the tickets you've had . It would also
help to have the VIN of the vehicle you are asking about .

If you need a VIN , you can go to the Dakota R/T web site at
http://www.DakotaRT.com and borrow mine .

Anyway , good luck with it !
