FWIW, I put a shift kit in my Typhoon early on and when it gave up the
ghost just before the warranty expired, they didn't give me any grief at
all about a replacement.

I think with a shift kit you have to keep in mind you're doing a mod
that should actually *extend* the life of the tranny through reduced
heat and for anyone to raise a stink about that is someone who doesn't
give a sh*t about customer service. For shops(or dealers) like that, I'd
choose to go elsewhere since they'll be nickel and dimein' ya about
everything.

Also keep in mind that MP sells shift kits. They can't refuse to honor
the warranty just because the kit isn't MP.
