RAM Air Hood

I asked this same question, and Terry at ProGlass claimed that he has never
had any reported problems with water entering the engine and causing
damage. He said that he has field tested the hood in hard and driving
rains, and had no significant accumulation of water.

I'm installing the airbox, and if I see any accumulation I plan to add a
drain hole(s) to remove it, but otherwise I don't think there will be much
of a problem as most other ram air systems work fine with this setup.
Terry made a comment that in order to test the ram air system on the
TransAm, GM would point a firehose at the intake, and turn it on full with
the engine running. I think I'll avoid that test!
