Steve,
I like my JET module, I didnt want to send it back. I tried to reseat it, I
pushed wiggled etc. and still the evil check engine light wouldnt go out
when the battery was reconnected. I think if you have a 97/98 and you
washed it, you might have experienced the same thing. I sent my chip off to
the tech guys at JET for a looksee. I hope I get it back soon!

<< Bruce,
I was thinking about this one last night.
I washed my truck on Saturday and the roughness started right
afterwards. You washed yours and the JET went bye-bye. Connection or
 coincidence?
I pulled the chip last night and it idles much better. Haven't felt the
surging either. The truck is in the shop for the lowering job at the
moment, but I plan to give JET a call today and see about a replacement.

Hey guys,
As posted earlier this week, I also had a problem with my R/T cranking
without
starting and after pulling the Jet it started. Frank suggested I plug it
back
in before sending it to Jet which I did and bingo, it started right off and
runs with the improved drivability I remember when I first installed it. I
think the problem is the module was not pushed all the way into the computer
and it worked its' way out slowly, disengaging the pins over a period of
time.
At least I hope that's it.
