Dream on... Mopar has made NO commitment to ever having a new HP engine
management computer for the 97-98 OBDII systems. As for the 99s... The
code/system for the 97-98 models is VERY different from 96 and earlier. In
adddition, according to knowledgable sources, It would require burning your
vehicle ID in the computer along with other salient data when changing over
. "Interceptor" modules like the JET (only one out on the market so far)
are probably the only way to change things for a while until other
aftermarket groups step up to the plate. Im still hoping Mopar comes out
with a new comp, but I think the chances are slim.
