My name is Mike Gale and I have been on the list for about a week now mostly
lurking. I have a 99 R/T on order right now and I am foaming at the mouth
waiting for it to arrive. They are supposed to ship it on the 18th of this
month and I should get it within two weeks of that. Eventually I plan on
putting some performance mods on it, and I think I am in the right place, I
have read all your posts and looked at many of your web pages and I see the
hot rodding spirit is alive and well.
This is my first new vehicle and I did pretty well on the price, about $100
over invoice, but I am wondering if the sneaky dealer add ons are going to
happen when I go to pick up and hand him the check. Anything I should be
aware of?
Also are there any dealer services or addons or warranties I should look into
getting? My Dad said I should look into getting an extended warranty, is it
worth it?
The only thing I regret not ordering now is the fog lights, is this difficult
to do later?
Oh ya, I got intense blue extended cab model for my six foot six body. I just
couldn't hack the regular cab.
So if anyone wants to send me any advice about what to look out for at the
dealer I would sure appreciate it.
