I was under the assumtion that the Vortech's used helical cut gears, guess I
was wrong. Oops.

I think my blower's the loudest at ~1500 rpm or so... other than that, it's
hard to hear, people in traffic might hear it if they're on the pass. side of
my truck, but that's about it ...

Now, with the underhood insulation off, that's another story ...

If you're looking for efficiency, I beleive the whipplecharger is the way to
go .. but, is it worth the extra $1000? I don't think so.
