After having owned several products (each) from Ford, GM and Chrysler. My
family settled squarely on Chrysler for it's service that the products
provided us with. I'll never go back to Ford or GM. Actually I'm kinda glad
Daimler bought Chrysler. I can feel a bit less guilty about coveting a
Mercedes 230 SLK.... <Zoom! Topless!> Personally, GM deserves to die for
their lack of enthusiam. They consider going golfing a "management meeting".

Ditto to that Jon. GM has taken advantage of the people if you ask me. Ford
has good engineering for sure, but in my opinion their design aspect sucks. I
always thought the best auto company would be Ford engineering and Chrysler
Design, but hell, we have Daimler-Chrysler now! Had a "town hall meeting"
with Tom Stalkamp today. He is a great guy, real personable and funny. He
pretty much layed it on the line, but hid a little. Bottom line, and this is
for everyone, Daimler-Chrysler will be a #1 company making money hand over
fist.
