I have a 95 with a custom fabbed Y-pipe. The shop that built mine said that
2 1/4 pipe was the largest he could use given the necessary flanges you need
to hook up to the manifolds. My exhaust work netted me 3.5 tenths plus in
the 1/4mi ET. BTW, my low end tork is still excellent.
