mileage question

Hey DML,
Got a question/problem. I have a 10" FABM and an aftermarket exhaust.
When I put on the FABM, I read that you were supposed to disconnect your
negative battery cable to reset computer. I didn't do this at first. I
got great gas mileage. If I filled up my 22gal tank all the way, by the
time it got to half a tank, I had racked up about 200mis or so. But
then, not too long ago, I decided to disconnect the neg cable and try
the reset thingy.<--technical term. Now when I fill up my tank and it
gets to half way, it gets @ 30mis less than it used to. Now, I really
don't race my truck much. I drive normally, and I drive 5mis over the
speed limit. So, what could this be, if anything? I don't know what to
do. If I lay off the pedal any more than I do now, it would take me
forever to get up to 45mph. When I step on the gas to get up to 45mph, I
rarely go up above 2K rpms. The highest I ever go, not racing, is
2500rpms. Woudl anything be wrong at all? No lights or anything. Any
help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Geoffrey
