MSD. Butt after the magazine article I read listing the different
ignitions, MSD didn't seem to stand out as the best. Before this article,
I was ready to get the MSD-6AL, but now the Accel 300+ and the Crane Hi-6
Fireball both look a little better. Any advice? >>

The MSD6A is probably the most economical, but why do you need the 6AL? Unless
you have the SBEC, or a custom programmed computer, you'll still have that
pesky rev limiter around 5200 rpm. Unless you wanted to set the rev limiter
lower (?), the soft touch rev limiter option on the 6AL is almost useless.

I can't comment on the Accel, but I use a Crane Hi-6TR now that I've installed
the blower, and it offers the same easier starts, smoother idle, and a tad bit
better throttle response just like the MSD did, but I wouldn't pay the extra $
for the rev limiter if I didn't have to.

Plug wires are an easy choice here, Magnecors are the best quality wire I've
seen to date... and it doesn't look like the industry is following in their
foot steps.
