My girlfriend bought one for my 93 Dakota V6 4x4......I thought eh just
maybe.....I was hoping to use it for more mileage....at the same time I put on
a Amsoil 2 Stage air filter.....I have to say I am not sure if it is the combo
of the 2 or just the filter but I did notice acceleration improvements and
most of all acceleration at highway speeds. I can now lock out that OD and gas
it as I am at 85 in no time at all. The first one she bought me was made for
the V6 Dakotas but it was very short, like half the height of the air filter,
so I called Tornado up and they said it should fit and I instisted it didnt.
They sent me another one that was taller and it worked out to fit great. With
the two items I know can get an easy 315 miles on my 22 gallon tank, where
before I was gald to clear 275. I am not sure about the total gas mileage
affects or hp affects, but since its in there I am gonna keep it. I WOULD NOT
advise anyone to spend money on this product though. For $70 you could buy
something else that would help with performance more.....maybe a FABM or FIPK
kit.....
