For those of you around the Houston area, you might have heard about the
police chase the other night. For those that didn't:
A fellow in a 96(?) Dak sport RC took the locals for a short trip down US59S
to Sugarland. After he crashed into a police chebbie, he was apprehended by
Houston Police. When told to get out of the truck, he did so and pulled a can
opener from his pocket. Seven officers opened fire. They managed to hit him
with ten rounds. He was airlifted to the hospital by LIfe Flight, where he
was pronounced dead. The Dak survived and is in police custody.
Moral of this story: Leave your can opener at home.
BTW, I was not there and related this story to you stricktly by what the local
media has provided to us at this time.
