ELF engines?

I have to much time on my hands and wondering if anyone has ever thought
about reffering to the 318 magnums as "ELF" engines. The reason for this
is that "ELF" is the chrysler processing code on the order sheets. Well
maybe that is not what I want to say. "What engine does that thing
have?" "Oh, its one of those elf engines." Nevermind, like I said to
much time on my hands.
