Shocks are my Dak say 'Made in Brazil'. CC has been building/buying components in other countries since the 70's. Your Dak is assembled in the USA.
Some CC products are even assembled in CANADA and MEXICO. I hear that Toyotas and Hondas are assembled in the USA...guess they're American too.
