Heck Tate, you have one of the trucks I'm talking about. A 318 5spd with
3.23 open and running 15.3's. I have a 360 auto with 3.92 posi and I ran
a 15.1 . I know your truck isn't any more modified than mine, so why are
they so close in ET and MPH? Where is the power in the 360? Anyone got a
low mileage 318 for trade? And how about that 5spd swap?(NOT)Alan S.

attached mail follows:

I don't know what the deal is about this either, Alan. The pro drivers set
beau coup records at this track, but with the identical setup and similar
temperatures and humidity, I ran three notably quicker times in Houston???
15.480 max effort best at the Plex vs 15.379, .387, and .465 in Oiltown.
(all of these were pre dot slicks runs) I guess you have to have a Pro
Stocker or Fuelie to run quick at the 'Plex. ??HAHHAHAHA!??!?!?!!

Tate

MAN, all these 318's running as fast or faster than my R/T. I'm
starting
to wonder if Texas Motorplex isn't 1330' or something. Good luck
anyway.
