I been eying them, but have some questions.
I've looked in the archives and haven't found any definent (sp?) answers.
My truck is a 318, 2WD, 3.55 Open Diff.
What will the t-bar do for 60ft times, et's, etc. (real numbers from
experience if possible)>
My 60' times got about 0.15 better on average after I installed the Lakewood
bars. It's possible that there were other factors to the improvement
(improving novice driver, different nights, etc.)
<What components are stresses passed on to when the axle doesn't wind up (ie.
what am I gonna break?)>
My opinion is that I'm less likely to break parts with the bars. The teeth
rattling wheelhop I had before the bars was definitely not healthy.
Anyone solved the snubber location/bent spring problems listed in the
archives?
Are t-bars street friendly?

No street problems here, but ground clearance is only @5" with the short tires
I run (rabbits, squirrels, and cats beware). Only thing I have to add on the
install is: I had to fabricate 3/4" spacers at the rear mounts to raise the
front of the bars, to get the snubbers within 1/2" of the spring. Overall I
like the bars, but the finish quality leaves something to be desired.
