Yes, extensively. Used about 5 layers with the last on inside out. Used
the dremel while the vacuum was running and did a massive inspection
afterwards. Couldnt find so much as a spec of Al in the intake afterwards
(the horror) I wasnt exactly happy to do it, but those steps really bugged
me!

You're right Bruce some profound changes in intake need to
be made. From reading you're thread, you apparently used
the dremel on the intake while it was still mounted on the
engine. I was wondering if you could do that without getting
alum.dust everywhere inside. Did you just tape off the area
inside the wall somehow?
